I'm in Washington State and we have a lot of extra taxes on gas - but I distinctly remember gas at $1.80 for a few years during Trump years. Never happened dude. Washington state has a 67 cents per gallon tax on gas. And the lowest octane is 87. Gas in Washington State hasn't been below $2.00 since 2005

Yep, Gas prices in the country crashed because demand crashed. Massive excess supply! I guess you don't remember what happened here in Washington State during the early days of COVID-19. When I was picked up at SeaTac on March 21st 2020 getting back from Australia there was virtually nobody on I-5. At noon! Nobody
