My generation has a lot of problems with intestines dying because we don't eat enough fiber. I think we're the first generation to have this problem in the 20s and 30s. The surgery is fast but still, removing part of the intestines isn't something I'd look forward to, so I'm eating a lot of fiber.

I don't need to know about free radicals or any of that since a dying intestine is a huge motivator to eat fruit and veggies.

I run and lift weights every day. When my doc asks what I do, he's alway impressed. Plus my weight is lower than most. I'm thinking this is the fattest generation ever, but I also compete with my friends to see who looks the best (okay that sounds more vain than intended).

Our movie night snacks changed too. A lot of homemade stuff like pumpkin bars and apple crisp. We drink waaay too much coffee though.
