Hi,
I exited the silver market in 1979, but I remember clearly what happened to the Hunts and many, many innocent small traders. The commodity exchanges raised the margins on silver contracts. That would have been all right if it had only involved orders to be placed, but it applied to all open contracts. Many speculators were faced with limit down days and margin calls they had never expected. But the big boys were taken care of. This time the big boy is Buffett. We'll see.
