Good to hear from you Sue and give my best wishes to your mother. My GF doesn't like me to share details about her and her family online so send me an email and I'll give a quick update if you wish. After finishing the big garden, patio, shed, pergola and planter upgrade... I started a major kitchen family room to a great room plus make the pantry and laundry room match remodeling project. Gotta spend those profits on something. Crazy Kalifornia prices I think I could buy a whole, 3,000 sq ft house on 1/4 acre in many red states for what I'm paying . What really sucks is even if I take capital gains, I need to sell about $1500 to raise $1000 net of taxes then CA takes another 9.2% on sales tax! Even worse is the spending kicks up AGI and thus Medicare costs soar like 400% I think. Oh well... As for the market, I think Bitcoin is up in fear Trump will muck up the Fed and perhaps ruin the status of the dollar as a reserve currency. If you can tell me how to use bitcoin to pay pirates to smuggle you out of Vietnam camps or Cuba.... or from North Africa into Italy, then I might listen. Gold and diamonds are probably best with the super wealthy using rare art to launder money. Kirk
