Tariffs work but its a long process. Nobody has the stomach for that since initially they are painful.

There is a history here since Trump was already President for 4 years and inflation did not rear its ugly head as a result of his tariff policies during his first administration.
Yes, but he didn't impose tariffs to the level that he promised during his second term.

Like I said, the moment he tries to fulfill this "campaign promise," markets will drop and he'll quickly change his mind.
