Exactly. That's my point. "Method of use" patents, for example, should not be allowed.

Once a drug is off-patent, Or Extended Release. Or different methods of delivery, or any other cosmetic changes should not trigger additional patent benefits.

Do you really think insulin that gets an improved injector should qualify for a patent or extension?

Some yes, others no. The supplements market is a total circus. Shit that no one could ever benefit from, and other stuff that has been acknowledged as therapeutic for centuries or longer.

I believe companies should get a fair opportunity to turn a profit, and always have. The patent system as it pertains to pharma is just ridiculous and needs to be controlled.
