Putin started a proxy war in the Middle East and is supporting Islamic regimes to topple NATO from within through BRICS and its (NATO) Islamic members like Turkey while threatening a nuclear response. Yes nobody wins in nuclear scenario, but Putin modified the nuclear doctrine allowing first strike if the very statehood of the Russian Federation is threatened. He conducted a mass nuclear response drill firing hundreds of ICBMs last month. Sure don’t take him seriously. The KGB which Putin headed at one point was a antisemitic organization. Jewish people got severely repressed and fired from their jobs when they expressed a wish to leave Soviet Union to immigrate to Israel. They had to pass through a KGB officer led exit visa interviews, I had one of these too. If you had even a tiny bit of Jewish blood you would not be hired into the KGB corps. So the Jews were waiting to return to Israel for years without income but with some help from abroad. In other words, he does not give a shit about Israel and will use Israel war in the Middle East for his own purposes of showing in the UN that nato is the aggressor. The west will never buy it but the African nations, Islamic countries, China and India do. Most Soviet Jews bypassed Israel and headed straight to the U.S.

Rarebird, Trump doesn't want to spend the money in Ukraine anymore. He is not phased by Putin's threats. Then why is it likely that Trump will give everything PooTin wants, which is a complete end to US aid? Seems to me like PooTin's threats worked like a charm. It got Brandon to limit their aid to Ukraine, which helped prolong the war, and it got Trump supporters to genuinely fear WWIII, which is why they voted for a guy who promised to end the war within 24 hours.
