Bill, let's say that the Intel BOD took a mid-level engineering director and promoted him to CEO. Although he has no C-suite or executive-level experience, they think he can't do any worse than what the current and past leadership have done to the company, which is currently losing money hand-over-fist and is laying off a ton of people. Would you then buy INTC stock thinking that this guy, who has a reputation for being brash and "anti-woke," can save the company and Make Intel Great Again? That's the feeling I get by seeing Pete Hegseth becoming Secretary of Defense. Wrecking ball politics ... Tenchusatsu
