Jeff,
They are looking at the speeds that would be driven in other countries. The speeds in other countries generally would not be as fast as the USA. IMO I was in Japan and they do not drive as fast constantly as we do. and their cars/trucks weight a lot less. Where the cost of diesel is over $3.00 gal. It would be interesting to see this engine in the skoda (?) car. I understand it is about 900 lbs less than the GEO.
