My guess is you worked hard and did well

But if you are on social security and medicare, you might want to thank the Democrats for those programs!

You have it exactly backwards. A person who worked hard and did well is a net funder of Social Security and Medicare. Why should Bill be thanking the people who took his money? The net takers in those programs should thank Bill for his money. Democrats should thank Bill for his money, which they used to purchase voters.

People who aren't clear on the concepts, but are dead certain they are, often confuse economic and social systems. On an abstract enough level, they do bear a lot of similarities. But if you are uncomfortable with abstractions and don't realize they are a simplification and what that implies, then we wind up with problems like that.

Why can’t you libs make an argument without personalizing it against the people you are debating? Nobody you call callous and selfish is going to want to talk to you about democracy.

Stick to the topic and lose the ad hominem.
