craig, I'm too cheap to pay Gilder $300/year for his news letter so I can't tell you which company is his pick in optical b/w. I just saw the post from a subscriber complimenting Gilder's timing: evidently he removed CIEN from the dream team 2/2 (i.e., the February edition) and then all hell broke looose a few days ago. It would be good to find out but I don't know how. His URL is gildertech.com if you feel like being a big spender. You've got my curiosity piqued now so I'll start scratching around the CIEN bone pile post massacre. Are you not enthused about TLAB's all optical network division? Gilder was really jacked up when TLAB bagged all those IBM guys to do the optical thing, said they were the best in the business, etc. Regards, Mike
