Do you have a link or paragraph to support?

Cymer can't control everything... I believe that's what they meant when they said they were a generation ahead of the competition etc..

I would like to see the others struggle longer though :-)

Cymer IS the DUV light source. They have the facilities the commitment the money and the service to back it up :-)

Thanks for the info.

Aloha

Here's Lambda Physics web site...

cohr.com

If I were to guess.. I'd say they were a bunch of REAL SMART guys but lack the marketing and support from their parent company etc...

Great products... no sales force etc...

Qualifying the Lambda Physik DU laser had been expected for some time. But I don't believe SVGI has sold any steppers with the LP laser in it. It is the chipmakers who specify which laser they want, and so far they have opted for the Cymer laser for reasons of reliability, throughput, and commonality with other recently purchased steppers (avoiding a new learning curve).
