What do you do with a power wall in the winter when the big storms (we had a tornado this week nearby) take out trees and power lines and some are weeks without power? Fortunately I'm about half a mile of two retirement communities that have high need for power so they usually get it up quickly... though I've seen these facilities have recently (since the storms took out two massive trees in my yard and did a lot of damage) installed generators (next to the new end-of-life care unit) that look to be NG.

A generator that runs on Natural Gas which has underground lines is ideal. I have a small one that runs on gasoline so I can drive to gas stations with power to refill if needed to keep my fridge going and recharge my phone. I have enough battery power for a few hours to keep internet running but need to figure out how to get the very old APCs to stop beeping. I have two newer battery supplies to feed those APCs that are easy to turn off beeping so I can get a decent amount of time (1.5 to 3 hrs) on battery for short outages.
