Maybe not imaginative but real steady and good at lying. He fooled the soccer moms twice.

Didn't think I'd have to 'splain it to you. He wants to preserve what he perceives as his image with the American people, and to protect himself in the PJ case. He is NOT trying to keep it from Hill.
