The issue is whether the Founders proscribed it and they didn't.

" The framers of the U.S. Constitution did not explicitly address abortion in their writings or debates." Of course. We know that.

However, they did acknowledge and were influenced by the common law, which was determinative at the time. At the time, abortion was generally permitted before "quickening" (the first noticeable fetal movement, which might have been around the 4th month).

Their rationale for omitting the topic is unknown but it is fair to say it probably isn't a topic that would have been addressed under any circumstance. So, I don't believe we can draw any conclusion from the topic's absence in the document.

So you say we can kill illegal aliens. I say all human life deserves equal protection under that law of their life and liberty.

The constitution is based upon self evident rights. The self evident morality of God is those self evident rights.

Self-evident rights are rights that are considered to be true and do not require proof or explanation. The term was used in the United States Declaration of Independence, which states, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness"

I take it as self evident that the term men includes woman. I do not take is as evident that sane humans are what ever sex they believe they are. I believe they are male of female based upon their DNA.

But there are so many who with some or total denial of science word salad will brain wash their minds with nonsense.

I see in you arguments the attempt start unburdening the laws of the future from any concept of past morality that was clearly not the intent of the founding fathers.

What you do not get in your ignorance of history is that you anti morality takes all civilizations to Sodom and Gomorrah.
