When I say education, I mean INFORMATION, from where ever.

All information helps create complex thought. Culture, environment, schools,society e.g. why urban area are more liberal than rural areas--more information.

This thread can do that for people who want to learn and get things right, not just fight!

Lots of smart people here to learn from, and from each other!

Humans were smart animals for millions of years, and then started eating meat instead of leave (lol), and got bigger brains, and finally learned how to learn, and that brings us to today.

IMO intellectual evolution is our manifest destiny i.e.that is how the universe works.

And if we don't get smarter than electing the village idiot and con man, how will we be able to control our nuclear weapons or AI!!??

I agree NATO is a good thing. That is NOT what I'm trying to get through to you koan! I'm saying NATO is NOT a product of education. That education is not moving the world forward in the ways you think it is. If more education was the salvation of mankind..............how did we get trump for a president?
