if unvaxxed death rate spikes.. I am all good with that

I was a out of character with those words.. not proud I said that part..

Anyway not one to shy away from criticism of our medical system when I feel it warranted.. I had this very positive experience with it starting last Friday..

Relevan part of a rather lengthy post follows

On the topic of BP.. Exercise and retirement transition to more physical work that stays at work (I rode a desk in a high stress consulting/programming environment for most of my adult working life) has reduced both cholesterol and BP.. I take BP meds still but half what I used to..

I purchased a Samsung smart watch to go with my S3 ultra phone. Monitoring BP etc was the goal.. all good for say 4 months.. 3 weeks ago my resting heart rate jumped from low 50s to high 70s.. no big life or diet changes.. I started getting daily 'possible atrial fibrilation messages' I confirmed on a different device.. I monitored for two weeks and since it persisted.. I booked a doc appointment.. (I pay private so I get next day appointments.. or sameday if I do not want to wait for my regular doc..) anyway she booked me for cardiologist this week..

This came out of the blue.. my greatest health fear is stroke. Without the watch I would have noticed the issues much later..

Just sayin'..
I am 68 and very active..

Happy I purchased the watch..

Right now heart rate sitting around 95.. normal range apparently BUT not normal for me.. resting SB in 50s.. see doc next week.

This actually the post showing system was very efficient in this case CLICK
