Most ridiculous was MSFT claiming Explorer was integral to Windows.
That put Netscape out of business. Probably Alta Vista, too.

(That's also why I used Firefox for a decade)

That's an oldie thread!

I see you, Carolyn and Ron's Cheeky Kid alias were there.

Maybe I should go there and mention my 1000X AAPL and see if it retroactively qualifies for a 1999 award.

I was on Yahoo, Raging Bull, Investor's Hub and Investor Village stock boards over the years. There were probably more I don't remember right now.

Raging Bull just folded and disappeared at some point.

Some of the people from back then are still around, many of them are gone.

I was mostly on the AAPL boards, some of which had some really insightful and skilled researchers and analysts, and anonymous Apple insiders who would do their best to let us know what was coming, without overstepping legal boundaries.

Those boards were also bombarded with anti-Apple flame throwers, just like here, which made it all the more challenging to sort the good from the bad, and all the sweeter to eventually end up with a 1000-bagger!
