From what ig posted there's a reasonable doubt that the effect was from the concentration of Bromelain. Even though it was highly rated, it's possible I had an allergic reaction to a filler or fillers in the NOW brand that caused the temporary stinging and redness.

Due to that possibility, I ordered a different brand of Bromelain with only cellulose as its inactive ingredient. It's in capsule form which I prefer over tablets. It also has a 3000 strength GDU. I hope they're effective.
