Did you see this post years ago, or try any mod like the ones there? The site is still up and still a good way to add a lot of capacity to old iPods: The iFlash.xyz website is still up and running.

I also have this model and have had for about 10 years est? I think it was the best Ipod released and if it only had a 256G storage it would be perfect for my needs. I use it mainly for playlists of maybe 30 songs per playlist. But in recents months have been considering this activostyle.com the only isse is I have read reports it gets prettt warm and sadly I can never find it in a store to actually play with. I use Musicbee as my music management software. Don
