I'd love to see your calculations. If you don't have any, then grace me with your best guess. What are the earnings going to be 2 years out?

Also, could you publish the details of the analysts estimates to prove that they have not taken into account the x86 penetration into the mid to large computer markets. Your comments indicate that you know the analyst's calculations pretty well.

Thanks,

Mo

Barry,
Re:What the earnings estimates for the next five years have not taken into account is that Merced and its descendants are going to take over the server and midrange (minimcomputer) markets, and maybe even the large scale (mainframe) markets just like the Intel X86 chips have taken over the desktop. Do you think that the recent runup is due to the street starting to factor this in? It was clear to me over a year ago that it was only
a matter of time before Intel would enjoy vastly larger profits WHEN
Merced sells in any kind of volume. Maybe they are thinking (the ones that are thinking that is) that they have plenty of time to get aboard. Not me, I bought at 70-74 in Febuary-March and doubled up on the recent dips, Feeling pretty smart right now and I have a good feeling that I will be alot happier in a couple more years. This is in no small part to you and many others on this thread with your voices of calm during all the volatility the past 12 months. Thanks and heres to all the good times that will come to us with vision and patience.
