The insecurity of gold and precious metal prices

Thomas, you started an interesting thread. For the most part the input contains a lot of common sense and value. However, there are other barometers that can greatly effect the price of precious metals other than market trends, mass dilution, industrial consumption, lack of supply and political positions. What I am about to introduce is something that many of you will not take serious.

In the US there are seven laboratories that I am familiar with that are synthesizing gold from low energy nuclear events. Four of these laboratories are associated with public companies found on the parent SI thread. The other laboratories are associated with pristine universities. Outside of the US, you will find 12 universities, an unknown quantity of industrial laboratories and private researchers trying to develop this area of science.

An interesting start in the review of this area is: infinite-energy.com

The first question one should have is -- Is anyone making progress and having success? The answer to this is -- Yes. To my knowledge only two have reached commercial proportions on a continuous basis with a third coming on line in March 1998. The others are dealing with milligram production levels from test tube size tests.

To explain in a general sense, a low-level nuclear event is similar to the acceleration of Mother Nature. That is to say, accomplishing a feat in 24 hours that took our planet to accomplish in 50 million years. A non-related event is the synthetic production of diamonds by General Electric. The difference between diamonds and production of precious metals is -- diamonds are the conversion of molecular configuration, wherein the conversion of base metals to precious metals is a change of nucleus properties.

For a short time, additional information on this topic can be found at:

Forgetting the science for a minute, what occurs when companies start producing gold for less than $60.00 an ounce? Of course they are not going to go public immediately, for it is not in there best financial interest to do so. However, what occurs when a academician finishes a research project in this area and announces to the World his results and has numerous other laboratories replicate his findings? Now you have wide spread acceptance and you find numerous groups involved in perfecting commercial production.

Throughout the Internet and journals, I have forecasted the potential change of the precious metals to industrial metals and for the most part, people feel that it is a hoax. Now, I am starting to see changes in the views of the scientific circles, for within the last 48 hours I was asked to join a University as a consultant for a new graduate program they are offering in low energy nuclear transmutation. Information regarding this program will be publicly released within 30 days.

I am not predicting doom, only a potential reality.

Respectfully,

Joe Champion
