A number of projects I worked on were dead ends but were funded as the project managers thought they were a good idea. Could have wasted a lot of time that way, but on several occasions new technology or new products meeting other market requirements, were revealed. Capitalists don't mind what you do once, at the end of the day, you make a mint of new money for the project / company. They don't care where the money comes from, the original idea of the project, or something spun completely off the wall. Overcontrolling Neoliberals usually just don't get it. Get awful negative about things. They get uptight if you haven't followed orders, and you did not produce the results they were looking for. They like to think they are super free, but have narrow definitions what success looks like. That guy who was a critic of Sabine spent too much time at the front of the class swotting & competing to be the teachers favourite pet. He should have spent more time at the back of the class hanging out with the misfits and trouble makers. He would have turned out to be a better scientist that way and might have won a Nobel Prize by now. But now he seems to think "antivaxxers" are not being scientific. Seriously stoopid -g- It is actually turning out bad. Sad. What can you do...I tried. -ng- Formerly About Advanced Micro Devices Message Board - Msg: 34982966 Myself? I should have done more swotting and sat more at the front of the class and listened to teacher.. That was my Downfall. Well, what can I say, ... who's perfect?
