So, what is the evidence Musk has "elevated" his use of the Ketmine he is prescribed by his physician? Who are these so-called "associates"?

Want another symptom? He cheats at gaming so he can brag about world-ranked characters. Apparently being the richest man in the world isn't enough. He has to cheat and brag about how powerful he is. Do you want a better metaphor for Musk?

Ketamine is similar to the psilocyn(1) related alkaloids, in that it can break up obsessive thought patterns in those who take it. Those on the autism spectrum run a high risk of both anxiety and depression to be comorbid conditions. In both cases, they often manifest as obsessive thoughts regarding self-worth and capabilities. Level 1s often become their own, harshest critics. To the point of being unable to accept praise or be satisfied with an accomplishment. So when someone like Musk faces an intractable problem, especially one with a lot of factors one can't control or even quantify, then that only reinforces those obsessive thought patterns.

Psilocyn et al can measurably(2) decrease self-reinforcing firing patterns in the brain for up to several weeks. Presumably ketamine works in a similar fashion, but I have no knowledge of that. Which is why it works for PTSD sufferers. However, the user needs to be cognizant of what they are doing, it is very easy to slip into reinforcing those patterns when they are at their weakest. Which is why it can be such a problem when done recreationally.

I am not sure that Elon has had to cope with enough failures to recognize when he is on the wrong path. And he doesn't strike me as the type to retain a shaman, degreed of not.

(1) Psilocybin is dephosphorylated in the gut to form psilocyn.
(2) Measured with MRIs. Combined with therapy and patient input. Still subjective, of course.
