Barry, the key expense has not been providing service, but marketing the service. However, I agree with you about deregulation. I am mad at SW Bell right now. In my new place, I had one phone line coming in as it was supposed to, the one in my office was the phone line to a flower shop, and the one in the master bedroom didn't work at all. They told me it would cost $70 to fix the problems they created. But I found a phone guy walking around and he fixed it in 5 minutes for free. I guess they have to scan their personnel rolls and get rid of anyone who likes to help clients. -g- MB
