Hi Dan and welcome to the JMAR thread.

You have a good point about the money situation and I cannot answer that. You may be partially right about the management team since they are predominately scientists which may or may not make the best business people.

As far as the SHORT interest to which you refer, we can be fairly certain that it is the result of one large block (750,000 shares to be exact) that was "shorted against the box". These people bought into a private placement at a price that was lower than the market price but was restricted. Therefore they shorted those shares to lock in a guaranteed, risk-free profit and they intend to cover those shares when the restriction time period is over. So you see that the short figures are misleading and may not necessarily be a bet against the future of JMAR.

After just a quick look, it does look like NANO and JMAR would be a good "fit" together. Here's their thread if anyone else wants to check it out:

Dan - You say you've owned JMAR just one week -- Just out of curiousity, how did you hear about JMAR and why did you decide to buy NOW instead of earlier when you told NANO about the company?
