Proudly Canadian :)

Anecdotally, my 17-yr-old son and his friends love President Trump's magic. They were enthralled watching the Inauguration live during their med school classes today! He's done an amazing job enthralling the younger generation; they really do want and believe in a Golden Age for America. Makes me wonder how this will play out politically in the future.

It annoys me to no end that the politicians on BOTH sides keep calling us "Americans" then talk about borders with other Americans.... I guess it is shorthand as it is too long to say "United States of Americans" but people from Brazil, Honduras, Canada, Mexico, etc. are ALSO Americans.

I wonder if they take offense... How do members of our potentia future 51st state, ie Canada, feel about that?

(BTW, I'm just fine with Canada and Greenland and Panama staying as they are.)

Martin Armstrong says that Canada will split between east and west. It is possible imho. The west has always been used by the east financially with no thanks and only given indignation and scorn by their eastern neighbours, but they have assets the US may be interested in. They could work a deal with the US and I wouldn't blame them. I would move to the west and join in the union if I could.

If so, the Canadian east is done like dinner, a bankrupt state controlled by the bloodsucking vampire Quebec. Woe unto us Canucks in the east for America won't want you, our future is grim. Best think of alternatives and flee the sinking ship if you value your children's future.
