Former U.S. Capitol Police chief blames intelligence failures, not Trump, for Jan. 6 attack

missouriindependent.com

The objective by the Dems was to charge and convict Trump as an insurrectionist. So they had to arrest the crowd who protested at Capital as insurrectionists. If police were injured then those perpetrators should have been charged under the appropriate statue and not charged with insurrection to imprison them with a longer sentence. The same for those that damaged buildings but not charge them as insurrectionists.

If that is all true, then I wish Trump would use the DOJ to prove it and find a way to make sure that doesn't happen again. I have no problem relooking at the charges and sentences given and perhaps reducing them to time served but it seems an abuse of the executive pardon. Can you imagine the uproar if Nixon had pardoned the Watergate burglars rather than trying to cover up their crimes?

Also, I'm pissed that Biden is pardoning people who are "innocent until proven guilty" that have yet to be charged. It is telling the world they committed crimes for him and he's letting them off before a DOJ under someone else is directed to investigate rather than ignore.

The "INJUSTISE system" is broken. IF Trump really wants to empty the swamp, then he needs to expose the criminals and bring them to real justice.

Don't forget the DC Police firing tear gas and rubber bullets into the protesters (peaceful to that point).
