Great idea and civil suits would give restitution for time served for overcharges. Unfortunately, it might be like cities getting stuck with paying huge settlements for bad cops and wrongful convictions. I'd love to see a house or senate hearing with the J6 committee members forced to reveal what really happened. We already know that Zuckerberg's Meta got screaming phone calls from the White House to remove posts and "news" that they didn't like. I'd think similar pressure was put on J6 committee members at a minimum and perhaps money for reelections, etc. also offered.
