Craig, you seem to have an excellent understanding of the marketplace that these two companies are in; however, from your post, it would seem that POCI is less than an even marginal player in that segment.

Are you of the opinion that POCI will not make it?
And if so, is it your opinion that this other company that you referred to will be the majority player?

I ask you because I have been encouraged to buy POCI over the last several months, and it has become dead money.

However, I was also told not to expect to see anything at least until this quarter. The stock appears well supported in the high 2's to low 3's, so I can still exit with small gains; but I would like to hold for higher numbers if they are around the corner.

Craig--Your post is somewhat misguided in that all stocks held in retail hands are subject to volatility. I would still pay $4 for POCI given the company's prospects in the WDM market. I think it is you who underestimate my knowledge of this area. The real asset for any company producing filters is people. There is a scarcity of thin film experts/scientists to do the R&D necessary to develop filters as complex as the one POCI is working on. Worst case, I see POCI being gobbled up by a larger player for a substantial premium to its current market cap much like Corning acquired OCA and Uniphsase bought Indx.
I do not attempt to "promote" stocks as you put it. I have identified what I believe to be a significantly undervalued stock in a hot sector. Only time will to tell....Terry
