I suspect she had been on extended WH duty and returned to train once Biden flew the coop. Too much, too soon.

That said, watching these videos,it is hard to understand how the helo could no see a plane coming right at it. BTW, two airport personnel are under arrest for illegally leaking these to CNN. Now, which one would eric want flying the helo if he was the passenger?

O'Hara was a UH-60 helicopter repairer, having served in the Army since July 2014, graduating from the 2014 class of Parkview Marine Corps JROTC program in Georgia.

According to the Army, he was deployed to Afghanistan from March to August 2017. Later, he was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia from 2020 to 2023. Most recently, he worked in Fort Belvoir in Virginia near the nation's capital.

"He has received a slew of accolades from the Army, including the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal x4, Army Good Conduct Medal x3, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with campaign star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, NATO Medal, Aviation Badge and Senior Aviation Badge."

Andrew Loyd Eaves, a 39-year-old helicopter pilot from Great Mills, Maryland. He had been a member of the Army since 2014 and was even deployed to Afghanistan in 2017.

Throughout his career, he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal (three times), Navy Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal and Navy Achievement Medal (three times).

Capt. Rebecca M. Lobach, of Durham, North Carolina, who was described as an aviation officer in the Army from July 2019 until last month, the Army said Saturday.
Lobach was also a former platoon leader and company executive officer in the 12th Aviation Battalion, Davison Army Airfield, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, her family said.

She also volunteered to work at the White House. Lobach was also a certified Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Victim Advocate in the Army, the family said. Among her awards were the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon, the Army said.

I worked in Nuqular and all events had multiple failures that led to the problem. Its never one thing. Instruments fail but there are backups and the human element to compensate for the failure. It always comes down to the human element. Having said that this airport looks very tricky due to traffic and lighting issues so anyone flying there had better be performing at the top of their ability. Looks like that wasn't the case
