But they aren't. Clearly. While the number is in debate, it is big enough for the workers to fight over: Some big percentage of DC workers are still not going to the office and the idiot biden actually agreed in their contract to allow them to continue staying home.

OPM claims that 32% never work remotely. So, that would be best-case, I'm sure.

Working remotely isn't a thing anymore. Every major business has done away with it, all for the same reason: It is a ripoff for the employer. Even Amazon gave up the ghost on it, and they had a more-or-less perfect home-work setup.

Productivity sucks.

A person working at an office is more valuable than one working at home. No business credibly believes otherwise at this point.

As to whether they're needed, they clearly aren't.
