The darn thread isn't any good for anything else anymore. Due to the nature of the beast not responding won't slow them down, some believe their mission is to fill the thread with enough mindless chatter to hopefully scare off any potential new buyers. What's really sad is that this works to the advantage of some buyers and it should be obvious that someone's interest was piqued last week. BTW: Last week's little surge wasn't anything like a "pre-news run" nor did it seem mainly due to day-trading activity or short covering. I imagine we'll know soon enough but I wouldn't guess at this week.
