Oversold / Dead cat bounce and the Govt will keep them floating if for no other reason than we need a foundry in the United States until TSM can get theirs built.

That makes a LOT OF SENSE.

The chip acy from the government should help fund te second plant.

It seems to me that China really wants to make the Taiwan grab.

With their Real Estate in the dumper, the time is not right, but with time it mat well become a reality.

Sharing the ownership is a great idea. Inel has the X86 and TSMC has the library of past non X86 designs.

Pooling all Democracy chip designers would allow a steal proof location in the US, and as we might have to deal with Excess capacity (china is famous for that) collective sanctions or collective dumping back on them could be distributed by a much stronger coalition.

Chiina knowing that the JV would be a powerful competitor) may just be smart enough to know not to attempt it (like they currently are with EV's).

China needs to ditch the "manufacturer for the world" concept.

Their superiority complex has led to a complete over build on real estate. Our real estate over build that resulted from Government money being available to people with no down and/or bad credit set our real estate value in the dump for 8 to 10 years.

The idea of building in the market vs dominating certain manufacturing processes share jobs and prevents the financial disaster of building excess capacities.

Excess capacity causes huge losses and a delay in wealth creation and advanced production as an ongoing development vs. the boom and bust we endured during the growing PC cycles and advancements.

Great security being forwardly planned IMO.

Great idea. But certainly, a long-term event
