Jan, take the proverbial "chill pill" for one, I did not start the politicking in here, I just responded to what others were posting about the situation... for two, I am not of the ilk to go dressing up my opinions or feelings in fancy terms or words so that it doesnt appear as though I am insulting someone, I spell it out simply. If a person deserves it, I give it to them, straight to the point and not sidestepping my true feelings with hyperbole or formal syntax for three, Jan, with all respect, I have been reading this site for a few weeks, and quite honestly, few members truly know what they are talking about when it comes to ascend. examples like ascend buying ciena and the likely hood of takeover are examples of this, you mention some of my phrasing being immature, or disgusting. People coming on here saying ascend is worth $x in a merger, or saying ascend will be a certain amount in a certain time is disgusting to me. They dont have any clue. Throwing out a random number is reckless because it can lure investors who are not savvy into something under false pretenses. This borders on hyping a stock artificially or even fraudulent misrepresentation. for four...I apologize, I've been in a bad mood this weekend and reading some of the posts on the mid east situation finally let the fuse blow. Looking back, I see that I may have been strong in some of my statements and for that I apologize, but my opinion still stands, perhaps in a more polite fashion!!!!! Personally, I know that you are not part of that group of individuals, I respect and like your posts...its some of the others I have trouble with. I've been trading and following ascend since it was a baby...back in the days of the $2 Iomega that I indulged in among other things, and let me tell you honestly, of all the predicitions and talk about stocks. Unfortunately very few come to pass. For example....I don't know if you ever heard of a company called Gandalf....I found it at $1 a share over 3 yrs ago or so....All the hype around it had it replacing ascend, and posing a severe threat to cisco...that stock was on more threads that I could remember, everyone for abe to zeke had predicted this stock running away with huge gains. The damn thing went to 19 1/4 Today? 6 cents if you're lucky. Thats why I hate seeing these predictions and target prices...NO ONE KNOWS>>>>except for goldman 8^) Again, I apologize to you for terms that you may have found personally insulting.
