Rod between you and Marshall there has been an escalation of rhetoric quite apart with any investment advice or the like. Rod if you think Marshall is overly effusive then say so, but personal attacks do not help. You did call him a shill from the very beginning. If the word implies dishonesty of some sort then it is entirely misguided. Just cool off will you? I realize that you feel ganged against and do not like that. To that extent I am with you. But it is counterproductive to fire off posts one after the other. It becomes noise. On the other hand I do not claim it is better to simply ignore you. I do feel it would be best for all concerned if you reduce output here imo. Rod the need for 56k is not as pressing as you paint it because on the road often you go thru pbx's and the like which eliminate the performance edge. DR approach to that issue is to provide an upgrade path. Buyers know this so it is not an issue.

Rod,

You hit the nail on the head, again. The problem is that most of the regulars that continue making submissions to this forum have already lost their shirts. They've suffered staggering paper losses and an even more staggering opportunity cost associated with those losses.

Put yourself in their shoes. By now, you've already written off RACE. You'll either lose what little remains of your original investment or you can hold on until the bitter end in the hope that you can at least break even. I'd opt for the second option myself in this situation.

If you are shorting this stock, I can think of more productive uses of your time than debating the merits of BT with people without any remaining credibility outside the narrow confines of a single thread on Silicon Investor.

On a final technical note, I'd suggest you reconsider the 28.8k argument Ignacio is peddling. How many corporate environments have you worked at that would consider sub-ISDN speeds acceptable?

It's been a fun weekend. Fairly eye-opening for me in some respects. Some people just aren't worth saving.
