Hopefully that will come....it appears to be setting up more spunkiness as we type. I will be watching!

*AV*--When you factor in your TA on ASMIF, please keep this one item in the back of your mind. I have a very low regard for their products along with many other people. They were on the losing end of a lawsuit, if memory serves me correct and their product line is not as good as a great deal of its cometitors. The only bright star, IMO, are their Epi Reactors which may fall by the wayside as their copmpetitors eclipse them.

Equally worrisome is the epi market not taking off as fast as first anticipated and the willingness of a majority of IC producers to buy the depsotied epi from the wafer houses like WFR. I knew a prodcut marketing type at ASMIF who told me that part of the stategy was to wait for the end user to decide to do his own epi deposition on the bare silicon purchased from the wafer producers. This did not occur.

I do not mean to bad mouth ASMIF or to disagree with the statisitical TA provided or being worked on. I just want to add this variable to the decision making process. ASMIF may perfrom well based on TA and what has been discussed but market acceptance and perception is not in the same league as other companies discussed in the tech sector like AMAT, LRCX, KLAC, NVLS, etal. I think there was a good reason for the drop in price: selling less equipment and losing some marketshare, possibly. There are better stories out there.

Big difference between ASMLF and ASMIF, even though they once shared common roots.<GG>
