Governments have systems to prevent waste. The whole waste thing is a just another myth put forth by the right wing to cut social programs so the rich don't have to pay taxes for them. I spent 20 years in government, and can't remember any waste! What I do remember is under staffed jobs because the legislature wouldn't fund the needed position.

Under the headline “Trump’s Tariffs Are No ‘Emergency’” and subheading “The President invokes a law that doesn’t give him power to impose sweeping tariffs. Someone should sue,” the Journal took Trump to task: President Trump delayed his Mexico-Canada tariffs again on Thursday—this time for another month.
