OTOH, claiming it can be stopped altogether IS a function of what you're willing to spend to do it. The interruption in service was minimal. You should be aware that really damaging hits like Amazon Web Svc lasted a few hours. This was maybe 10-15 minutes. Contrast with the big Ransomware attacks (the last one, I spent three months sorting out for customers, as did a lot of people who do the kind of work I do). So, overall, a few minutes is a pretty minimal attack. As to you stopping it, I'm not sure how you think you do that. I would never be convinced anyone could be kept entirely, 100.0% secure. So, dumb old Musk is getting stuff right, for the most part.
