I thought you were already convinced high frequency traders were stealing from us little guys. I'm not convinced that's true. I don't know how they make their money, but when one of them bids a small amount above us when we're best bid, the seller gets a slightly higher price. It's reasonable that the HF guy should get the sale rather than our lower price.

But I think it's unfair that the HF trader can pay $123.561 for a stock, while we can only pay $123.56 or $123.57.


How'd they get that 1/10th of a penny limit order ability, and if they can do it, why can't we?
