I remember the Mock Apple Pie recipe offa the big red box. In all seroousness, I read the recipe repeatedly and couldn't make it work in my head. So I took my aroused intellect and found my mama, and I asked her to please tell me what "mock" was, and why it was not in the ingredient list.
Try as I might: when I was adolescent I heard the urban legend about the word "sex" (or as some avowed, the Fword!) being baked into each cracker. Well, I held that floury confection up to the light every which way, and no matter how I squinted at the Ritz, I couldn't get any "sex". Angst.
