I will guess yes. hopefully a full glass LOL. a bottle of wine can do 4 standard wine glass at something like 5-6 oz per pour. so if you got say 5 glasses a per glass price was.. kind of a holy fuck, but it's hong kong and these guys are trying to be i do not know what, classic french with zero effort beyond classic french. with great flaws. the celery dish was completely not understandable. but you ate it, so how was it. the fish? both the fish and the execution, so what, as long as so what minimum. fish itself, not a star of any kind. sauce? you tasted it. consumme! clarity of the consomme was dead right. see through, no impurities, great execution EXCEPT all the fucking fat globules floating across the top. LOL. Like what the fuck? Those are not supposed to be there at all. flavor and all that, you ate it. Obviously no idea. The whole thing was totally "prescious" including the menu printing itself. And then boldly telling you 10% service extra before you even begin.. is truly a kind of fuck you message from the self advertising by the Duel Chefs.. always an ego that has nothing to do with anything. marrow bone was impressive in size, hence amount of marrow. cooking.. fucking easy. get a nice marrow bone and cook it LOL. I'm happy your friends bought you dinner. all of what you got your house person probably could have made at home for the cost of the ingredients and with some candles looking out over the bay, Jay, a much much better dining experience. i forgot to mention.. the beef looked quite good. was it waygu? either way.. the beef was nicely fat and then they do an oyster? infused Bearnaise? like total triple kill on the fat side, and maybe I can see the "oyster" there. But hey.. had they actually done a classic borderlaise or something like that, they could have gone from heavy, no skill, over compensation to an already fine piece of beef, to something the french who know how, do well, refinement, and compliment all in honor to the center of the dish being presented. the bearnaise was in fact, in total competition to the meat. FAUX Pas for sure. dumb. but customers don't notice typically and don't care one way or another for glitzy menu printing. so, win win.
