People close to the participants in the merger talks between SmithKline and Glaxo have said that the tone of the talks between the two resembled that of the popular internet sight called Silicon Investor. One insider close to the talks said that the raucous discussions were not unlike the infighting found on the LGND thread with in the Silicon Investor web-site.
