Indeed. This isn't a product announcement. It just says they built a panel on a production machine. In auto industry terms, I guess that would be called a "C" sample. Built on production equipment for a customer to test (assuming it was even built to a customers specs). If it passes the tests, it would then have to be designed in to a product. Plus, it uses a fluorescent blue layer so still not an all phosphorescent solution.

It is significant that UDC got LG to put out the press release, of course, though the timing of a press release that basically matches UDC's wording of "meeting commercial specs in months not years" but still not in a product being put out on UDC's earnings day is questionable when there are so many potential pitfalls out there, some of which you noted. Curious what to make of it?
