US couldn’t even sign a deal with its closest allies yet but somehow the market thinks it will happen with China.

An extended shutdown of access to US consumers would cause the Chinese export based economy to implode. Their government knows that, and also knows that the consequences for them would be ugly. They will deal with Trump because they have to..
