While the SCSI version of the Jaz 2GB had the edge in our test of copying data to a hard drive, the EIDE-based SparQ did better receiving data from a hard drive. This device also outdid the SCSI Jaz 2GB in our Word and Excel tests. Let me get this straight... a $199 SparQ is faster in Parallel mode than a $600 Jaz2, and is faster in EIDE than a SCSI Jaz2 as well. My my. One really can't apply the term "value" to the Jaz line anymore, can they?
