Great article. Great quotes:

""The SparQ achieved some top-notch scores on our tests: Using a parallel-port connection, it ran at about the same speed as the high-capacity Jaz 2GB when we copied files to and from our test PC's hard drive, but it garnered scores on our Excel and Word benchmark tests that were 1.7 times better. While the SCSI version of the Jaz 2GB had the edge in our test of copying data to a hard drive, the EIDE-based SparQ did better receiving data from a hard drive. This device also outdid the SCSI Jaz 2GB in our Word and Excel tests.

Let me get this straight... a $199 SparQ is faster in Parallel mode than a $600 Jaz2, and is faster in EIDE than a SCSI Jaz2 as well.

My my. One really can't apply the term "value" to the Jaz line anymore, can they?
