<<<<U.S.-based Dell Computer Corp on Tuesday said it had received Chinese government approval to build a manufacturing and sales centre.>>>

Very good Pat, and someone just asked what Dell may be up to next,
or what Dell becomes by year 2000. That sneaky devil////
He could do it alone with the 600+mil he made in the last few weeks.
Man, Dell is pouring the good news in all at once, earnings, split, now the future. I'm with Gabriel, those Mar 130's looking very good.
The market has such a short memory, just hope they remember
some of it for a month or more, and we may not get a post-split dip.
Notice the alignment of the moon and that big planet just above it this morning?? Does that mean anything special, or just that we a are up too early??

Pat, That's number two plant in Asia. Asia is going to come back sooner then most people think, when they do, they will have to play catch-up, DELL will be ready. Thanks

Greg

Wow Pat, this is great news, this should be worth something. I see some numbers thrown around for China's projected PC sales, and I believe the number was something like 10 mill pcs annually within in a few years. Dell's plant should come handy when things heats up in China.

To anyone familiar with MUEI machines.

MUEI is cutting back employment and is having trouble with their notebook line.

If someone understands this (not just Dell is kicking their rear) could you explain what MUEI is doing wrong?

biz.yahoo.com

I don't hold any MUEI but would like to understand this.

Pat
