CellularVision USA Completes World's First LMDS Operation & Communication Center (LOCC)

New Fiber Network Links LOCC with Key Network Hub Sites

NEW YORK, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, CellularVision USA (Nasdaq: CVUS - news) unveiled its world class LMDS Operation & Communication Center (LOCC). The company also announced the completion of a new 500-mile fiber optic capacity, which connects the LOCC to key CVUS hub sites within the company's New York service area.

Located at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, the new center will significantly expand and improve the delivery of SPEED(SM), CVUS'
revolutionary broadband high-speed Internet service, and the company's studio quality subscription television package. The facility will
also control the content delivered to CVUS subscribers on a customized, cell-by-cell basis. This allows CVUS to offer low-priced
subscription television service to residents of Brooklyn and Queens, while it simultaneously devotes the same bandwidth to offering
advanced two-way digital service to Manhattan businesses.

''We are well-positioned to be the low-cost, high-quality provider of high-speed Internet, video and voice in this market,'' said John Walber, president of CellularVision of New York. ''This milestone improves the reach of the current system, and it also provides a platform from which lucrative new two-way services such as IP Telephony and High-Speed Data can be launched.''

The first LMDS provider licensed by the FCC, CellularVision USA holds the license for New York City, the largest and most lucrative telecommunications and media market in the country. Earlier this month, CVUS announced that it intends to expand its reach nationally by offering its unique expertise in end-to-end system integration and broadband wireless operating systems to future LMDS operators.

The LOCC, which will also be home to a new customer service center offering 24-hour customer care and technical support functions, was specifically designed to accommodate possible operational growth. This includes the ability to serve as a specialized LMDS operations and call center for other LMDS operators around the United States.

''While potential LMDS operators are currently focused on simply bidding on spectrum at the auctions, CVUS continues to build its leadership position by further advancing our LMDS broadband wireless platform,'' said Shant Hovnanian, president and CEO of CVUS. ''This will support our growth in New York and provide us with the ability to offer service and support to other LMDS operators nationwide.''

Over the past five years, CVUS' operation in New York City has been the world's most important LMDS development site. Representatives from telecommunications and cable companies from around the world have visited the company's offices.
