Hi grampa,
Welcome to the thread. I hope you enjoy the posts here as many of them are edifying and very helpful.

<<At the rapture, do you feel ALL those below that age will join other believing
Christians?? If so, WHAT a shock to those left behind! If not,---what???>>

That's a very interesting point. I have also believed there is an age of accountability before which the Lord takes anyone who dies to heaven. I wish I could find any scripture in the New Testament to justify that belief. It is certainly a logical assumption and in the Old Testament it is clear their was an age of accountability. I would like to know more about it. What is the age and how is it determined? Is it a set physical age and if so how is it applied when in these last days children serve evil at younger and younger ages. You have come upon a very difficult and puzzling point. It is even moreso with the idea of all the children below that age at the time of the rapture. Are they exempt even if their parents have rejected Jesus and there is no covering for them through their parent's faith? What a subject.

Have a great day,

Bob

PS Also, I believe that all the innocent victims of abortion are with the Lord. If the devil knew that he might think twice about it.

Hello Grampa,

Welcome to the thread!

I have heard the phrase "age of accountability" over the years. Would you please explain this to me, and where in the Bible that this can be found?

Aren't we all sinners and accountable to God for our actions?

God bless,

Paul

Granpa, do you live anywhere near Woodbridge, Va.? I lived there from 1973-1976. Was able to take part in the Bi-Centennial celebration in D.C.. They really know how to throw a parade in our nation's capital.
