Oh, no, Betty, really I am sure that tiara is just for you. I still have that long, Hanoi Jane-style hair, and it would get all tangled up. Not only that, but I wouldn't be able to run very fast when the police tried to reestablish order at the demonstration or anything. Princess Diana is the only liberal, rebellious spirit who comes to my mind as having the elegance to carry off wearing a tiara, although I am sure she couldn't hold a candle to you.

It's funny but true that even though our politics are more than a little different, I suspect we have really similar values about family life and children. Obviously, if Monica's daddy had hugged her and approved of her enough, and if her mother had provided a maternal example that was less predatory, this scandal would probably still be unfolding because of Clinton's ALLEGED insatiable lust, but another damaged young woman would be wearing the kneepads instead of Monica Lewinsky.
